The UN doesn't recognize climate refugees as refugees.

My friends and I learned this while working on a D&AD New Blood brief from Google Fonts and the Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography. The brief asked us to create a typography-led campaign that expanded on one of the articles from the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our response was to challenge Article 14's narrow definition of a refugee by giving climate-displaced people a space to share their stories on World Refugee Day.
